STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Structural Engineer to support the design, analysis, and evaluation of structures for infrastructure and building projects. This role involves preparing structural calculations and drawings, ensuring code compliance, and collaborating with both local and international stakeholders, including Mandarin-speaking clients, to deliver safe and cost-effective structural solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Design and analyze structural systems for buildings, bridges, foundations, and other civil infrastructure.
2.Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and specifications in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
3.Conduct structural assessments, feasibility studies, and value engineering evaluations.
4.Coordinate with architects, geotechnical engineers, MEP teams, and contractors during all project phases.
5.Review construction materials and methods for compliance with design and safety standards.
6.Perform site inspections and provide technical guidance during construction and post-construction stages.
7.Utilize structural engineering software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, SAFE) for modeling and analysis.
8.Communicate effectively with international project teams and Mandarin-speaking clients on design intent and technical matters.
Qualifications:
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
•Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design and analysis for civil or building projects is preferred.
•Skills & Competencies:
•Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and building codes (e.g., ACI, AISC, Eurocode).
•Proficiency in structural analysis and modeling software such as ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, or similar.
•Excellent technical writing, problem-solving, and communication skills.
•Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) for coordination with overseas clients.
•Ability to manage deadlines and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
