PIPELINE ENGINEER

Job Summary:
The Pipeline Engineer is responsible for the design, planning, installation, inspection, and maintenance of pipeline systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role supports project execution by ensuring compliance with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Design and develop pipeline systems, layouts, and engineering specifications based on project requirements.
2.Prepare engineering calculations, material specifications, and technical documentation.
3.Supervise pipeline construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
4.Conduct pipeline inspections, integrity assessments, and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability.
5.Coordinate with project teams, contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities throughout project execution.
6.Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and compliance with applicable engineering standards.
7.Evaluate materials, equipment, and construction methods to optimize project performance.
8.Prepare progress reports, inspection records, and engineering documentation.
9.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company policies.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Pipeline Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipeline engineering, construction, oil & gas, utilities, or infrastructure projects.
Skills:
• Strong knowledge of pipeline design, construction, materials, and integrity management.
• Familiarity with pipeline engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other engineering software.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and project coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Language: Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) to liaise with overseas suppliers and clients.
