PROJECT CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER

Job Summary:
The Project Construction Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. This role involves managing resources, liaising with stakeholders, ensuring safety compliance, and resolving technical challenges during construction. Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
1.Plan, organize, and oversee construction projects from initiation to completion.
2.Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
3.Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to meet project requirements.
4.Monitor construction progress, quality, and safety compliance on-site.
5.Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during construction.
6.Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports.
7.Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
8.Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
9.Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets specifications.
Requirements:
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
•Experience: At least 5 years of experience in construction project management or engineering.
•Skills:
•Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards.
•Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
•Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
•Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
•Strong communication and coordination skills for working with diverse teams.
•Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) to liaise with overseas suppliers and clients.
