Junior Mechanical Draftsman

Job Responsibilities
1. Prepare accurate 2D technical drawings and 3D models for mechanical components, products and equipment using AutoCAD, SolidWorks or other relevant CAD software.
2. Assist in product design, development and improvement based on engineering requirements.
3. Prepare detailed part drawings, assembly drawings, dimensions and technical specifications for manufacturing and fabrication.
4. Revise and update drawings according to design changes and production requirements.
5. Work closely with the engineering, production and machinery teams to ensure drawings are practical and suitable for manufacturing.
6. Maintain proper records of technical drawings, revisions and design documents.
7. Perform other engineering and drafting tasks assigned by the management.

Job Requirements
- Certificate, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Drafting, CAD/CAM or a related field.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is required; knowledge of SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
- Good attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving skills.
- Fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
- Willing to work on-site at Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.
