Job Description:
Act as overall in-charge of Production for Primary Process sections during the shift.
Manage shift manpower (requirement, attendance, shortage) and reallocate staff between sections.
Ensure the shift starts on time with good discipline and work efficiency.
Plan and control overtime within the approved limit.
Monitor output againts plan throughout the shift; ensure daily targets and Primary Process MOs are achieved.
Relay instructions between Production Manager, Section Heads and shift staff on production, quality, 5S, safety and discipline.
Ensure the shift complies with QMS, EMS, IATF 16949, safety and 5S requirements.
Report and investigate accidents, near-misses and environmental incidents during the shift.
Lead shift handover, escalate unresolved abnormalities to Section Head and Production Manager.
Coordinate with HRD on shift worker and hostel issues: ensure no misuse of company facilities.
Coach section supervisors and leaders, and train acting reliefs.
