Project Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Supervise and coordinate on-site activities including ducting, piping, and electrical installations.
- Work closely with draughtsmen, site supervisors, and technicians to resolve technical issues and ensure drawings are implemented accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents, site measurements, and cost estimations for new projects.
- Prepare regular site progress reports, attend site meetings, and update project timelines.
- Ensure all works comply with CIDB safety regulations, ASHRAE/SMACNA standards (for ACMV), and the company’s internal quality benchmarks.
- Coordinate with sub-contractors (plumbers, fitters, welders) to ensure manpower and materials are managed efficiently.
- Handle project documentation, including O&M (Operation and Maintenance) manuals, shop drawings, and variation orders (VO).

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering from a recognized university.
2. Experience: 1–3 years of experience in the construction or MEP industry is preferred, though fresh graduates with strong internship experience in HVAC/ACMV are often considered.
3. Possession of a valid CIDB Green Card is mandatory for site entry
