Civil Engineer (PROTEGE)

About the role
Borneo Assets Sdn Bhd is a 100% Bumiputera company established in 1986, active in construction (civil and structural works) and M&E services. We are looking for fresh graduates to join the PROTÉGÉ-RTW programme and gain hands-on experience in our Engineering Department.

What you will do
- Assist in preparing technical drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D or Revit
- Prepare supporting technical documents such as work plans, material specifications and design reports
- Assist engineers with site inspections, technical visits and progress monitoring
- Prepare daily site reports, including photo documentation and verification of works
- Assist in preparing tender documents, checking BQ quantities and contract documents
- Check site works against approved plans and industry standards (MS, JKR), and support QA/QC
- Prepare periodic technical and progress reports, and assist with technical approval submissions to authorities (PBT, JKR, CIDB)
- Assist with structural analysis and design using software such as SAP2000, STAAD Pro and ETABS
- Support senior engineers in coordinating with contractors, consultants and clients, and take minutes in technical meetings

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Fresh graduate (the programme is aimed at graduates who are not yet in full-time employment)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software is an advantage
- Willing to travel to project sites
- Good communication skills, a team player and eager to learn
