Job Purpose
Join our Claims Recovery team and build your career in the reinsurance industry. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are eager to learn, detail-oriented, and interested in claims processing, reinsurance accounting, and broker/reinsurer communication.
You will be responsible for preparing claims payment, updating claims paid and outstanding positions, submitting claims recovery notifications, and supporting timely communication with brokers and reinsurers. You will also assist in ensuring that claims recovery matters are handled accurately, efficiently, and in line with company procedures.

Policy & Planning
• Support the department in performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system-related projects when required.
• Record and report system findings or issues to the Supervisor for further action.

Operational Delivery
• Register, key in, and update Preliminary Loss Advice, Revised Loss Advice and Claims Settlement Advice records accurately.
• Process claims settlement within the required timeline.
• Prepare cashflow advice to the Finance team to support timely claims payment.
• Ensure claims payment processing is completed accurately and in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and compliance deadlines.
• Review claims documents and request clarification or supporting documents when required, based on policy coverage, Treaty Terms, and conditions.
• Liaise with Finance and Investment teams to ensure sufficient fund reserves are available for claims payments.
• Prepare and submit accurate claims recovery notifications to brokers and reinsurers.
• Attend to queries from brokers and reinsurers professionally and monitor turnaround time to ensure timely responses.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Head of Department.
