SALES ENGINEER (JOHOR BHARU)

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Engineer to join our team at Dover Elevators Malaysia. This role is suitable for fresh graduates who are eager to learn, develop their technical knowledge, and build a career in engineering and sales. You will gain hands-on experience in handling tenders, reading technical drawings, preparing quotations, and coordinating with internal teams and customers. With proper guidance and on-the-job training, you will have the opportunity to develop both your technical and commercial skills in the elevator and escalator industry. We value a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work well with others more than extensive working experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and submitting tender documents, quotations, and sales proposals.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, building layouts, and project specifications with guidance from experienced team members.
- Assist in preparing cost calculations, pricing schedules, and quotation documents.
- Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to obtain the necessary technical and commercial information.
- Follow up on tender submissions, quotations, and customer enquiries within the required timelines.
- Ensure all quotations, tender documents, and project records are accurate, complete, and properly organised.
- Assist in reviewing project requirements to ensure proposed solutions meet customer specifications.
- Support the sales team in preparing presentations, technical submissions, and other sales-related documents.
- Maintain good communication and coordination with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and timely responses.
- Perform other related sales and engineering duties as required.

Who We Are Looking For
- Fresh graduates and diploma holders are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates from Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or other relevant technical fields are welcome.
- Well-organised, punctual, responsible, and able to manage tasks and deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, especially when checking drawings, specifications, pricing, and tender documents.
- Good communication and coordination skills, with a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Willing to learn, ask questions, and take initiative in completing assigned tasks.
- Basic computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Able to work independently when required and collaborate effectively with different departments.
