PROTOTYPE SPECIALIST

Job Description;
• To design and realize all the mechanical parts on the assigned development project in line with customer requirements and deadlines.
• To define specifications and tolerances of piece parts and sub assemblies of the assigned development projects.
• To evaluate production feasibility of design concepts, cost effectiveness of product samples and market relevance from design strategic perspective.
• To ensure strict compliance on timeliness of product design deadline.
• To work with internal teams to resolve issues and problems related to design.
• All new development design must meet the cost, quality and customer requirements.
• Support Engineering in establishing manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities based on production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information.
• Support in deploying Lean programs with continuous improvement in process and 5S and responsible for overall design functions.
• Optimize cycle time and line balancing, implement optimal methods for efficient work flow.
• Participate in productivity improvement projects.
• Factory capacity and equipment capacity management for productivity and efficiency improvement.
• To mentor and supervise junior engineers.
