WELDER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist skilled workers, technicians and supervisors in daily site or workshop activities.

Perform loading, unloading, lifting and moving of materials, tools and equipment.

Assist in preparing materials and work areas for fabrication, installation and construction activities.

Carry out general cleaning and housekeeping to maintain a safe and organised workplace.

Assist with basic cutting, grinding and material handling under supervision, where required.

Arrange, transport and store materials at designated areas.

Follow instructions from supervisors and complete assigned tasks within the required timeframe.

Comply with workplace safety regulations and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Report damaged tools, equipment and unsafe working conditions to the supervisor.

Perform other general duties as assigned by the supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Previous experience in construction, fabrication or industrial work is an advantage.

Physically fit and able to perform manual work.

Willing to learn and follow instructions.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Willing to work overtime when required.
