Lorry Driver

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and drive company lorries safely and responsibly.
- Deliver and collect goods according to assigned schedules and routes.
- Load, unload, and properly secure goods before transportation.
- Check delivery documents, invoices, and goods before departure.
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues.
- Keep the lorry clean and in good operating condition.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel, and vehicle usage.
- Communicate with the logistics team regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues.
- Handle goods carefully to prevent damage during transportation.
- Perform other transportation-related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Valid GDL / appropriate driving licence for the type of lorry operated.
- Previous experience as a lorry driver is preferred.
- Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
- Safe and responsible driving record.
- Physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading.
- Punctual, reliable, and disciplined.
- Good communication skills.
- Willing to work overtime when required.

Working Conditions
- Full-time position.
- Work may involve long driving hours and varying schedules.
- May require weekend, public holiday, or overtime work depending on business needs.
- Regular handling and transportation of goods.
