Position : Halal Intern
Pay: 800.00 (MYR) - 1,000.00 (MYR) per month

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Halal Intern to join our team immediately. This internship provides hands-on experience in halal documentation, certification processes, and compliance monitoring within the food and beverage industry. The successful candidate will work closely with the relevant departments to support daily halal administrative activities and ensure proper documentation is maintained.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing, updating, and organising halal-related documents and certification records.
- Support halal certification applications, renewals, and the collection of supporting documents.
- Assist in checking the halal status of raw materials, ingredients, and suppliers.
- Maintain halal documentation and approved supplier records for reference and audit purposes.
- Coordinate with internal departments to obtain relevant documents and follow up on halal compliance matters.
- Assist in preparing reports, checklists, and documentation for halal audits and inspections.
- Support halal awareness activities, staff training, and updates to halal-related SOPs.
- Perform general administrative duties and other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Halal Management, Food Technology, Food Science, Islamic Studies, or a related field.
- Available to start immediately or as soon as possible.
- Able to commit to the required internship period.
- Basic knowledge of halal certification and compliance is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Detail-oriented, organised, responsible, and willing to learn.
- Good communication skills and able to work independently as well as in a team.
