PROTEGE - MECHANICAL ASSISTANT

Requirements:

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field.
2. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
3. Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and construction processes.
4. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or other relevant engineering/design software is an advantage.
5. Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
6. Able to work independently as well as in a team.
7. Willing to learn and work at project sites when required.
8. Willing to travel or be assigned to different project locations when required.

Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Mechanical Engineer in coordinating and monitoring mechanical works at project sites.
2. Assist in reviewing mechanical drawings, specifications, and project documents.
3. Assist in preparing, updating, and maintaining mechanical drawings and documentation.
4. Assist in monitoring the progress and quality of mechanical installation works.
5. Assist in conducting site inspections and ensuring works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
6. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and other project team members on mechanical-related matters.
7. Assist in preparing site reports, inspection records, progress updates, and other project documentation.
8. Assist in checking materials and equipment delivered to site to ensure compliance with project requirements.
9. Assist in identifying and reporting any mechanical work issues or discrepancies to the Mechanical Engineer.
Perform other duties and tasks assigned by the Engineer or Project Manager.
