A) RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate machines to remove finished work pieces or changing tooling, setup or work piece placement according to required machine sequences.
Discuss with Senior Production Supervisor/ Senior Printing Line leader and managers to resolve machine malfunction or production error or to obtain approval to continue production.
Check to ensure all the work pieces are proper lubricated /smooth and cooled during machine operation.
Clean machines, tooling or parts using solvent and rags.
Adjust Machine feed and speed, change cutting tools or adjust machine controls when automatic programming is faulty or machine malfunction.
Monitor machine operation and control panel displays reading to compare if detected malfunction.
Follow work instruction to operate machine control units to start and stop operation.
Assist with the preparation of good for shipment.
Assist with counting of material to ensure inventory integrity.
Help to maintain necessary inventory of manufacturing supplies.
Perform others duties as assigned.
B) EXPERIENCE / SKILL REQUIREMENT
Experience 2 years in flexible packaging industry will be an added advantage.
Ability to work long hours and shift work
Possess good communication and people skills.
Self-starter, versatile and able to work cross-functionally.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, GMP and 5S management system is an added advantage.
Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia or English.
