Job Responsibilities
-Operate and monitor production machinery, including wire drawing machines, according to work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOP).
-Set up, adjust, and operate machines to meet production requirements.
-Perform basic machine troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs to ensure smooth production operations.
-Identify machine faults, mechanical problems, and abnormalities, and take appropriate corrective action.
-Conduct routine machine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize machine breakdowns and downtime.
-Monitor production processes and inspect finished products to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
-Report major machine breakdowns and technical issues to the supervisor or maintenance team.
-Record daily production output, machine breakdowns, maintenance activities, and other relevant information.
-Ensure machines and equipment are operated safely and comply with workplace safety procedures.
-Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in the production area.
-Assist with machine installation, adjustment, and improvement activities when required.
-Perform other production and maintenance-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
-Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment is required.
-Experience in machine troubleshooting, maintenance, and basic repairs is required.
-Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and machine operation is preferred.
-Ability to identify machine faults and perform basic corrective maintenance.
-Responsible, disciplined, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
-Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.
-Candidates with experience operating and maintaining medium wire drawing machines are preferred.
Preferred Skills:
-Experience in wire drawing or metal wire manufacturing processes.
-Knowledge of machine maintenance and preventive maintenance procedures.
-Ability to troubleshoot machine breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
-Basic understanding of production quality and workplace safety requirements.
