Live-In Housekeeping Helper

About the Role:
We’re recruiting on behalf of a private household for an experienced helper to manage daily household operations at a residence in Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities:

- Clean and maintain the whole residence (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas)

- Cook daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Meals are non-halal and include pork.

- Do laundry: washing, ironing, folding, and caring for clothes and linens

- Help prepare for and clean up after household gatherings and dinners

- Give non-medical household support to an elderly bedridden family member, working with the assigned nurse-caretaker

- Feed and care for one household dog

- Do other reasonable household duties assigned by the Personal Assistant

Requirements:

- Malaysian citizen. Applicants from Sabah and Sarawak are encouraged to apply.

- At least 2 years of experience in housekeeping, cooking, or private household service (required, as no full training is provided)

- Age 25–45 preferred

- Comfortable cooking and handling non-halal food

- Comfortable working around a dog and an elderly bedridden person

- Willing to live in at the employer’s residence

- Honest, discreet, and respectful of household privacy and religious practices (the household is Roman Catholic)

- Willing to work as part of a team and follow reasonable instructions.

- Able to communicate effectively with the Personal Assistant and other household staff.

- Willing to reside at the employer's residence.

- Previous experience in housekeeping, cooking, or private household service is an advantage.
