The Elementary School Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging, and student-centered instruction to elementary-level students in an American international school environment. The teacher will implement an American-based curriculum that promotes academic excellence, critical thinking, creativity, communication, and social-emotional development.
The successful candidate will create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds while ensuring that learning objectives and educational standards are achieved.
Must possess an American Degree Qualification specialising in Education and a minimum of 5 years working experience with an American International School.
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons based on the American curriculum and school academic standards.
Teach core elementary subjects, including English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
Develop age-appropriate teaching materials, classroom activities, and assessments.
Apply differentiated teaching strategies to accommodate students with different learning abilities and needs.
Integrate technology and interactive learning tools into classroom instruction.
Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and independent learning.
Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Primary Education, or a related field.
Valid teaching license or professional teaching certification is preferred or required according to school regulations.
Minimum of 2–3 years of teaching experience at the elementary or primary school level.
Experience teaching in an American international school or using an American curriculum is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of American educational standards, teaching methodologies, and elementary-level curriculum frameworks.
Excellent English communication and classroom presentation skills.
Ability to teach students from multicultural and diverse backgrounds.
Proficient in using educational technology, digital learning platforms, and classroom teaching resources.
Strong classroom management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Patient, creative, enthusiastic, responsible, and passionate about working with children.
