Teacher - Social Studies

Applicant must have an American Bachelor's Degree in Education, History, Social Studies, Political Science, Geography, or a related field.

Teaching certification or professional teaching license is preferred from the American Education Board.

Minimum of 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an American or international school.

The Social Studies Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, student-centered instruction in Social Studies based on the American curriculum and international education standards. The teacher will help students develop a strong understanding of history, geography, government, economics, culture, and global issues while fostering critical thinking, analytical skills, civic awareness, and respect for cultural diversity.

The successful candidate will create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages students to become informed, responsible, and globally minded citizens.

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons aligned with the American curriculum and Common Core State Standards where applicable.

Teach subjects such as American History, World History, Geography, Civics, Government, and Economics, depending on grade-level assignments.
Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, classroom activities, and assessments.
Integrate current events and real-world issues into classroom discussions.

Encourage students to understand historical events, political systems, cultural differences, and global developments.

Strong knowledge of the American curriculum and Common Core State Standards.

Excellent English communication and classroom presentation skills.

Ability to develop engaging lesson plans and effective teaching strategies.

Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.

Experience teaching students from diverse cultural and international backgrounds.
