Construction worker

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist construction workers, technicians and supervisors in daily construction site activities.

Perform loading, unloading, lifting and moving of construction materials, tools and equipment.

Assist in preparing construction materials, tools and work areas for building and civil engineering works.

Assist skilled workers in general construction activities, including material preparation, mixing and handling of construction materials.

Carry out site cleaning and housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.

Transport, arrange and store construction materials at designated areas.

Assist with basic construction tasks under the supervision of site supervisors or skilled workers.

Follow instructions from supervisors and complete assigned tasks within the required timeframe.

Comply with construction site safety regulations and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Report damaged tools, equipment and unsafe working conditions to the site supervisor.

Perform other construction-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Previous experience in construction work is an advantage.

Physically fit and able to perform manual labour.

Willing to learn and follow instructions from supervisors.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Willing to work outdoors and under various weather conditions.

Willing to work overtime when required.
