JOB DESCRIPTION – STORE CREW

1. Price Checking & Promotion Monitoring
- Ensure shelf prices are consistent with the prices in the POS system.
- Verify that every product has the correct price tag displayed.
- Update price tags whenever promotions start or end.
- Remove expired promotional price tags immediately.
- Monitor special offers and promotional displays to ensure accuracy.
- Report any pricing discrepancies to the Store Manager.

2. Product Quality Inspection
- Inspect the quality and freshness of fruits, vegetables, meat, chicken, seafood, and other fresh products.
- Check product packaging for any signs of damage, leakage, or contamination.
- Remove spoiled or damaged products from the selling area.
- Monitor storage temperatures for chilled and frozen products.
- Ensure all products are stored under proper and hygienic conditions.
- Report any product quality issues related to suppliers.

3. Expiry Date Monitoring
- Check expiry dates of all relevant products regularly.
- Identify products that are approaching their expiry dates.
- Remove expired products from the selling area immediately.
- Separate near-expiry products for appropriate action, such as discounting or supplier returns, subject to approval.
- Maintain accurate records of expiry date monitoring.
- Inform the Store Manager of products with significant expiry risks.
4. FIFO (First In, First Out) & Stock Rotation
- Ensure older stock is placed at the front and newer stock is placed behind it.
- Check stock dates when receiving new deliveries.
- Rotate stock accordingly whenever shelves are replenished.
- Ensure new stock is not placed in front of older stock.
- Monitor stock rotation in stockrooms, chillers, freezers, and display shelves.
- Conduct regular stock rotation checks to ensure proper FIFO practices are followed.
