FURNITURE CRAFTMANSHIP

Job Description
• Develop and improve woodworking techniques, furniture construction and assembly methods.
• Ensure furniture meets quality, durability, dimensional accuracy and craftsmanship standards.
• Provide technical support in wood selection, machining, joinery, assembly and product development.
• Troubleshoot production defects and implement improvements to reduce material wastage and rework.
• Develop standard working methods to improve production efficiency and product quality.
• Train and guide carpenters and production staff on woodworking techniques, quality standards and safe working practices.

Job Requirements
• Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Furniture Design, Woodworking, Carpentry or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in furniture manufacturing or woodworking.
• Strong knowledge of solid wood materials, joinery, machining and furniture assembly.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Good problem-solving, leadership and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to craftsmanship and product quality.
