Location: Bandar Sunway, Selangor (HALAL Japanese Restaurant)

Job Description
We are looking for motivated and responsible individuals to join our kitchen team as Kitchen Crew.

The successful candidates will assist in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient food service.

Requirements
• Open to Malaysian citizens only.
• Minimum Secondary School, SPM or O-Level qualification.
• Entry-level position; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation or kitchen operations is an added advantage.
• Good teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Willingness to maintain high food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with company guidelines.
• Able to follow kitchen Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and instructions from supervisors or chefs.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, based on operational requirements.

Responsibilities
• Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, cutting and preparing ingredients.
• Support chefs and kitchen team members in daily food preparation and cooking activities.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organisation of kitchen equipment, utensils and workstations.
• Assist with stock replenishment, inventory arrangement and proper storage of ingredients.
• Follow kitchen SOPs, food preparation guidelines and instructions from chefs or supervisors.
• Clean and maintain kitchen utensils, cooking equipment and food preparation areas.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations during service hours.
• Assist with daily kitchen opening and closing duties.
• Perform other kitchen-related tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.
