The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising project activities to ensure works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
-Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily project activities to ensure timely completion.
-Supervise site works and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
-Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
-Review technical drawings, method statements, material submissions, and project documentation.
-Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and work schedules.
-Identify and resolve technical issues and site challenges promptly.
-Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.
-Prepare progress reports, site records, and project documentation.
-Attend site meetings and provide updates on project status, issues, and corrective actions.
-Assist in project cost control, variation orders, testing, commissioning, and final handover.
Qualifications and Requirements:
-Relevant experience in project management or site supervision is an advantage.
-Good understanding of engineering drawings, construction methods, and project coordination.
-Strong communication, leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
-Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
