1. JOB PURPOSE
To supervise and coordinate scaffolding activities on site, ensuring that all scaffolding structures are erected, modified, inspected and dismantled safely and efficiently, in accordance with project requirements and applicable safety standards.
2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Supervise and coordinate all scaffolding activities on site.
* Ensure scaffolding structures are erected, modified and dismantled safely and in compliance with relevant safety requirements.
* Review project drawings and specifications to plan scaffolding works and requirements.
* Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments of scaffolding structures and work areas.
* Supervise, guide and train the scaffolding team to ensure compliance with established safety procedures.
* Monitor the progress of scaffolding works and report any issues, delays or incidents to project management.
*Maintain adequate control of scaffolding materials, tools and equipment.
* Coordinate with other site supervisors and relevant teams to ensure scaffolding works support ongoing construction activities.
* Ensure good housekeeping is maintained within scaffolding work areas.
3. DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY
* Approve minor on-site adjustments to scaffolding structures where necessary to maintain safe and efficient operations.
* Recommend the materials, equipment and manpower required for scaffolding activities.
* Stop or suspend scaffolding work when safety hazards or unsafe conditions are identified.
* Liaise with project management regarding delays, safety incidents and technical issues relating to scaffolding activities.

Subordinates: Scaffolder Foreman / Scaffolders
5. JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Proven experience as a Scaffolding Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, techniques and safety requirements.
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
* Strong leadership, supervisory and team management skills.
* Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Good communication and coordination skills.
* Physically fit and capable of working at height where required.
* Strong awareness of workplace health and safety requirements.
