ROAD TESTING & TEST BENCH ENGINEER, RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

1. Complete Vehicle Testing (CVT)
- Conduct complete vehicle and engine testing based on approved Requests for Testing (RFT) to ensure vehicles and components meet testing requirements before mass production.
- Prepare technical reports, coordinate testing schedules and monitor testing operations to ensure accuracy, compliance and achievement of project timelines.

2. Testing Development
- Evaluate and improve existing test equipment, testing capabilities and procedures in accordance with applicable international standards and requirements.
- Operate basic measuring and testing equipment and perform accurate data recording and analysis.

3. Planning & Organizing
- Manage testing consumables, tools and resources to ensure efficient utilisation and availability.
- Develop contingency plans and ensure testing readiness through systematic planning to minimise disruptions and achieve project timelines.

4. Data Analysis
- Analyse test results and prepare clear and accurate technical reports.
- Provide technical input and recommendations based on test results to support engineering evaluation, problem-solving and decision-making.

5. Teamwork & Communication
- Collaborate with team members and relevant departments to resolve technical issues, exchange knowledge and support cross-functional problem-solving.
- Communicate testing progress, findings and technical issues effectively to colleagues and relevant stakeholders.

6. Company Activities & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in company initiatives and activities, including ESS, 5S, Cost Down, Kaizen and other continuous improvement programmes.
- Contribute to improvement initiatives to enhance departmental efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness and productivity.
