FORWARDING RUNNER BUKIT KAYU HITAM

JOB SUMMARY:
To support daily forwarding operations in BKH by handling Customs documentation, submitting and collecting documents, coordinating with Customs authorities and relevant agencies, and assisting with import and export shipments through BKH Border and other designated locations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Submit and collect Customs declarations and supporting documents from relevant Customs offices.
2. Assist with import and export Customs clearance procedures.
3. Deliver and collect shipping documents, permits, approval letters, and other relevant paperwork.
4. Follow up with Customs officers regarding clearance status, inspections, and outstanding documents.
5. Assist in obtaining the necessary Customs endorsements and approvals.
6. Ensure all documents are delivered accurately and within the required timeframe.
7. Handle documentation and operational errands related to sea freight and air freight shipments.
8. Travel to BKH Border and other designated locations as required.
9. Liaise with drivers, transporters, customers, and relevant parties to ensure smooth shipment handling.
10. Assist with the collection and delivery of documents or cargo-related items as instructed.
11. Ensure all documents are handled safely and confidentially.
12. Provide timely updates to the forwarding team on completed and pending tasks.
13. Assist with other forwarding-related operational duties assigned by the supervisor.
14. Follow company SOPs and applicable Customs and port procedures.
15. Possess a valid driving license and own transport, if required for work duties.
