The General Operator is responsible for assisting with daily production and manufacturing activities, operating basic machinery, handling materials, and ensuring that products are manufactured according to company requirements and quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist in daily production and manufacturing operations according to the production schedule.
2. Operate basic production machinery and equipment in accordance with established operating procedures and safety guidelines.
3. Assist with metal fabrication, material preparation, cutting, grinding, polishing, assembly, and other manufacturing activities as assigned.
4. Handle, move, and arrange raw materials, components, and finished products safely within the production area.
5. Perform basic inspection of materials and finished products to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workplace, machinery, tools, and production equipment.
7. Follow all company safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
8. Report machine malfunctions, defective products, and workplace safety hazards to the supervisor.
9. Assist production technicians and other team members in completing assigned manufacturing tasks efficiently.
10. Perform other reasonable production-related duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
