Warehouse Assistant

Job Responsibilities
Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, organizing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.

Handle the inventory of material handling equipment, machinery components, spare parts, tools, and related materials.

Inspect incoming goods and verify their quantity, specifications, and condition against purchase orders and delivery documentation.

Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movements in the company's inventory management system.

Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation to ensure stock accuracy.

Ensure proper storage arrangements, inventory labelling, identification, and warehouse organization.

Prepare and maintain warehouse documents, including delivery orders, goods received notes, stock transfer forms, and inventory reports.

Coordinate with the Sales, Purchasing, Operations, and Technical Departments on equipment and spare parts requirements.

Arrange the timely issuance and dispatch of materials, tools, equipment, and spare parts for customer orders and maintenance activities.

Monitor stock levels and report low-stock, damaged, missing, or obsolete inventory to management.

Assist in coordinating incoming and outgoing deliveries with transportation and logistics providers.

Maintain warehouse cleanliness, housekeeping standards, and compliance with workplace safety procedures.

Support warehouse process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and inventory accuracy.

Perform other warehouse-related duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements
Minimum SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, or a related discipline.

Previous experience in warehouse operations, stock control, inventory management, or logistics is preferred.

Proficiency in Chinese is required, including speaking, reading, and writing, for inventory documentation and communication with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and suppliers.

Basic communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Familiarity with warehouse management systems, inventory software, or ERP systems is an advantage.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.

Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate stock records.

Responsible, disciplined, hardworking, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Basic knowledge of industrial machinery, material handling equipment, or spare parts is an advantage.

Willingness to perform hands-on warehouse duties and comply with workplace safety requirements.
