Customs Officer ( LMW)

Job Responsibilities

- Prepare import and export shipping documents.
- Handle Customs declarations and LMW-related documentation.
- Arrange shipment schedules with freight forwarders and transporters.
- Arrange outgoing shipments to customers.
- Ensure invoices, packing lists and delivery orders are accurate.
- Follow up on Customs clearance and delivery status.
- Maintain import/export records for LMW reporting and Customs audits.
- Monitor raw materials, finished goods and scrap metal records.
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Production, Purchasing and Sales departments.
- Ensure shipping activities comply with Customs regulations and LMW licence requirements.

Job Requirements

- Minimum SPM, Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience in shipping, logistics or import/export operations is preferred.
- Experience in LMW procedures and Customs documentation is an advantage.
- Familiar with import/export documents and Customs declarations.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Good communication, coordination and documentation skills.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, responsible and well-organised.
