PROJECT COORDINATOR (PRODUCTION & ASSEMBLY)

1. Coordinate and monitor machinery assembly projects to ensure timely completion in accordance with customer orders and delivery schedules.
2. Prepare and update production schedules, monitor assembly progress, and follow up on outstanding tasks to ensure production targets are met.
3. Monitor material availability and coordinate with the Purchasing and Store/Warehouse Departments to ensure all required materials and components are ordered and delivered on time.
4. Compare material ordering and delivery status against actual production progress to identify potential material shortages, supply delays or other issues that may affect production schedules.
5. Assist in planning and organising workshop layouts, assembly areas, workflow and resource allocation to improve operational efficiency and ensure smooth production operations.
6. Liaise with workshop supervisors and relevant departments to resolve production issues, coordinate work activities and minimise delays.
7. Coordinate with the Production, Warehouse, Transport and other relevant departments to plan and arrange machinery deliveries based on customer requirements and scheduled completion dates.
8. Follow up on delivery schedules, transportation arrangements and related preparations to ensure machinery is fully assembled, inspected and ready for delivery on time.
9. Identify and address potential issues that may affect production or delivery deadlines, including production delays, material shortages and transportation changes, and promptly report them to management.
10. Prepare regular project progress reports and update management on assembly status, material availability, outstanding tasks and potential production or delivery risks.
11. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the efficient utilisation of manpower, materials, equipment and other production resources.
12. Perform other relevant duties as assigned by management.
