Technical Director

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Director to lead and manage global technology projects covering software development, system integration, application support, and technical delivery. Must have experience in Aerospace, Logistics, Banking and Air Freight domains.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage global IT projects from planning through implementation and support.
Provide technical direction for software development, system integration, migration, and application support projects.
Manage project teams, technical resources, timelines, deliverables, and priorities across multiple locations.
Oversee Java, SAP, Oracle, database, API, and enterprise application development and integration activities.
Work closely with global clients, business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Provide technical guidance, architecture oversight, and support for complex technical issues.
Ensure projects meet agreed scope, quality, security, budget, and delivery timelines.
Manage application support and production issues, including escalation and resolution.
Identify technical risks and implement appropriate mitigation plans.
Support new technology initiatives, solution proposals, and technical pre-sales activities.
Establish and maintain technical standards, development practices, and project governance.
Required Experience
10+ years of experience in IT/software development and technical project delivery.
Strong experience in Java, Oracle, enterprise applications, and system integration.
Proven experience managing global development and support teams/projects.
Strong understanding of SDLC, application architecture, APIs, databases, and integration technologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with enterprise, government, or large-scale projects is an advantage.
Experiecne in handling projects in APAC countires
Advantage of having Chinese (Mandarin) language skills.
Experince in handling projects in Europian countires.
