Civil and Structure Engineer

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, monitoring, and supervising all civil and structural works at
the project site.
• To ensure all C&S works are carried out in compliance with approved construction
drawings, specifications, codes of practice, and local authority requirements.
• To coordinate and supervise subcontractor activities related to earthworks, piling,
foundations, structural framing, drainage, roads, and other civil works.
• To review and verify shop drawings, BBS (Bar Bending Schedule), method statements, and
work procedures related to C&S scope.
• Conduct site inspections and verify that works are carried out according to the Inspection and
Test Plan (ITP).
• Assist in managing quality control by identifying non-conformities, raising NCRs, and ensuring
timely corrective actions.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and authorities on design clarifications, approvals, and site
issues related to civil and structural elements
• To monitor site progress and ensure that project milestones for C&S works are achieved
within schedule and budget.
• To supervise the testing of materials such as concrete, rebar, and soil to ensure compliance with
design requirements.
• To manage and ensure accurate record-keeping of construction activities, including daily reports,
site instructions, and RFI submissions.
• To enforce the use of proper PPE and ensure safety practices are followed during all C&S activities
on site.
• To support the implementation of the Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) operational
controls by the HIRADC and Environmental Aspects & Impacts Register.
• To liaise with the QA/QC team to ensure C&S works meet the required quality standards
before handover.
• Participate in coordination meetings with other disciplines (M&E, Architectural, ID) to resolve
clashes and interface issues.
• To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Construction/ Project
Manager or superior.
