PLANT AGRICULTURE BIOLOGY MANAGER

Role purpose
Lead plant cultivation, research, quality control and shipment preparation for the company’s vertical greenery and display plant projects. The role requires direct technical communication with Japan HQ and customers in Japanese.
Key responsibilities
1. Plan and carry out research and development on plant cultivation, vertical greenery and environmentally responsible growing methods in accordance with Japan HQ’s technical direction.
2. Monitor and control light, temperature, water, humidity and nutrients to maintain plant health and achieve required growth, appearance and height specifications.
3. Lead the team responsible for maintaining vertical plant displays and display tanks in a healthy and presentable condition.
4. Conduct site surveys, assess growing conditions and manage plant projects against agreed customer specifications and timelines.
5. Inspect plants before shipment, document their condition with photographs and prepare plant quality control reports.
6. Coordinate air cargo arrangements and prepare the plant and shipment documents required for delivery to Japan.
7. Provide project updates, inspection findings and shipment reports directly to Japan HQ and customers in Japanese.
8. Carry out other duties related to plant cultivation, quality control and project delivery as reasonably assigned.
