General Manager

Job Description:
You will be responsible for the efficient running of the Hotel in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The General Manager is responsible to ensure the smooth and efficient running of all operational aspects of the hotel and to ensure that the various departments are run according to the standards set for the brand in general and the hotel specifically. Lead hotel operations and maintain Hyatt Centric brand standards and positioning. Develop and deliver annual business plans, manage budgets and costs, and achieve revenue, profitability, productivity, and RGI targets. Protect and optimize the owner’s assets, while overseeing property safety, security, and engineering priorities. Set strategic priorities with the Management team and coordinate an annual strategy workshop to address challenges and deliver business goals. Ensure compliance with Hyatt policies, corporate governance requirements, and the Management Agreement.

Qualifications:
Ideally with a university degree in Hospitality or Tourism management. Senior hotel management experience, including responsibility for hotel operations and financial performance. Experience with budgets, revenue growth, and competitive performance. A track record in guest satisfaction, team leadership, and talent development. Knowledge of hotel safety, security, brand standards, and compliance. Brings international hotel experience, ideally across multiple markets or with internationally recognized brands, and can lead multicultural teams and serve diverse guests.
Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
