Job Description – Project Handyman

Position: Project Handyman
Department: Project & Maintenance
Location: Various Project Sites : Sabah or Peninsular Malaysia
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities

1. Carry out general construction, repair, maintenance and upgrading works at assigned project sites.
2. Perform basic handyman tasks including painting, minor plumbing, carpentry, installation, dismantling and general building repairs.
3. Assist Project Engineers and Site Supervisors in daily site operations.
4. Handle basic construction tools, equipment and materials safely.
5. Assist in material transportation, loading, unloading and site preparation.
6. Maintain cleanliness, housekeeping and safety at project sites.
7. Follow company safety procedures and instructions from supervisors.
8. Perform other project-related duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent. Higher qualifications are welcome.
2. Basic knowledge of construction, building maintenance or repair works.
3. Must possess a valid Malaysian driving licence (Class D/DA or higher).
4. Willing to learn new skills and undergo company-provided training.
5. Physically fit and capable of performing general site work.
6. Responsible, hardworking, disciplined and able to work independently or in a team.
7. Willing to travel and work at different project locations when required.
8. Fresh candidates with basic construction knowledge are encouraged to apply.
