Safety Assistant

Job Requirements:

1. A recognized degree or diploma in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) or a related field.

2. 1–2 years of relevant working experience is preferred.

3. Fresh graduates with strong interest in HSE are encouraged to apply.

4. Good interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.

5. Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

6. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the organization complies with all laws, regulations, certification standards, and relevant requirements, including ISO, SEDEX, HALAL, and Occupational Safety and Health standards.

2. Monitor and assess hazardous or unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.

3. Develop and enforce comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures across all operations.

3. Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and awareness sessions as needed.

4. Oversee all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) matters within the organization.

5. Assist in preparing detailed incident and accident reports.

6. Investigate workplace accidents, near misses, hazards, and unsafe acts, and recommend corrective and preventive measures.

7. Perform regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.

8. Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen workplace safety and compliance.
