Site Supervisor

We are looking for a dedicated Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities and ensure project are completed safely on schedule and according to approved specifications.

A. Line of Reporting
1. You shall report directly to the Project Manager
2. You shall coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and relevant authorities on site-related matters.
3. You shall ensure all site activities are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, work schedules and company procedures.
4. You shall ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety regulations and quality standards at site.

B. Job Responsibilities
1. Supervise daily construction and site activities.
2. Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
3. Monitor contractor, subcontractor and worker performance at site.
4. Coordinate with consultants, contractors and suppliers regarding site operations and work progress.
5. Ensure site safety requirements and quality standards are complied with at all times.
6. Prepare and maintain site reports, progress updates and project documentation.
7. Monitor project schedules and report delays, risks or issues to Management.

C. Job Tasks
1. Liaise with representatives of government authorities, contractors, project consultants and relevant parties involved in the project.
2. Willing to travel for work and attend project sites when required.
3. Coordinate and receive instructions from Management and superior regarding project execution.
4. Attend committee meetings, site operation meetings and project discussions.
5. Attend to emergency and urgent matters at site when required.
6. Prepare and monitor project schedules and work progress at site.
7. Review project plans, specifications and identify potential construction issues.
8. Communicate effectively with contractors, subcontractors and consultants regarding site matters.
9. Monitor and maintain construction schedules to ensure smooth workflow at site.
10. Raise and discuss relevant issues during site meetings and prepare meeting updates when required.
11. Inform Management, contractors and subcontractors regarding site progress and related issues.
12. Monitor site safety and ensure Occupational Safety and Health requirements are complied with.
13. Ensure inspections, testing, quality assurance and quality control activities are completed accordingly.
14. Maintain and enforce proper construction standards and quality workmanship at site.
15. Supervise and monitor labour, subcontractors, materials and equipment usage at site.
16. Prepare and update daily site reports, inspection forms and project records.
17. Prepare and report ongoing work progress photos for Management reference.
18. Ensure proper housekeeping and organization at site.
19. Attend training, briefings or meetings assigned by Management.
20. Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in construction or site supervision.
3. Knowledge of construction methods, site operations, and building materials.
4. Able to monitor daily site activities and ensure work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
5. Able to coordinate and supervise site workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
6. Knowledge of site safety requirements and construction regulations.
7. Able to prepare daily site reports and monitor work progress.
8. Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
9. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
10. Willing to work at the assigned project site and travel when required.
11. Possess a valid driving licence and own transport would be an advantage.
12. Preferred: Experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, sewerage, or related construction projects.
