Production technician

Responsible for assembling components and finished products according to technical drawings, work instructions and quality standards. Supports daily production targets while maintaining safe working practices and accurate production records.
Key Responsibilities
• Assemble parts, components and subassemblies according to approved procedures.
• Read and follow assembly drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, fixtures and measuring equipment correctly and safely.
• Inspect components and completed assemblies for defects, alignment and proper fit.
• Perform functional checks and basic testing as required.
• Identify and report material shortages, assembly defects and equipment issues.
• Record production quantities, inspection results and traceability information.
• Carry out authorised rework according to approved instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organised workstation and follow 5S practices.
• Work with production, quality and engineering teams to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.
• Follow safety procedures and use the required personal protective equipment.
