MATHEMATICS TEACHER

Teaching: To plan, deliver, and evaluate lessons and activities to ensure the transformation of knowledge and skills to the students.
• Identifies clear teaching objectives and specifies how they will be taught and assessed.
• Plan and prepare and deliver courses and lesson in line with curriculum objectives.
• Assigns and marks work, gives appropriate feedback and maintains records of students’ progress and development.
• Researches new topic areas, maintains up-to-date subject knowledge.
• Organizes the learning resources and the classroom learning environment.
• Updates the students profile on the development, progress, and behavior.
• Assesses, records, and reports student's progress towards attaining the intended outcomes.
• Design, manage, and participates in educational and extracurricular activities.
• Prepare, conduct, correct and record the marks of the exams.
• Maintains good order and discipline amongst students and safeguards their health and safety at all times.
• Offers at least one Co-Curricular Activity per term.
• Participates in Extra Curricular Activities to enhance the school experience for learners.

Relations Management: To manage the communication with students and parents to ensure cooperation and positive relationship.
• Establish and maintain positive relationship with the students and parents.
• Participates in activities to exchange knowledge and experience with colleagues.
• Advises and co-operates in the preparation and development of teaching materials, methods of teaching and assessment.
• Encourages good practice with regard to punctuality, behavior, standards of work and evaluating own teaching to improve effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experiences
• Bachelor/Master degree in education.
• At least five years’ experience in teaching.
• Experience in effective teaching and learning strategies.
• Experience in an international school environment (preferred).
