Position: General Factory Worker
Department: Production / Manufacturing
Industry: Precast Concrete Manufacturing
Reports to: Production Supervisor / Factory Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

To assist in the daily production of precast concrete products, including preparation of moulds, concrete casting, demoulding, finishing, handling and storage of finished products, while ensuring product quality, workplace cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities
1.Assist in preparing, cleaning and setting up moulds for precast concrete production.
2.Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, casting and compaction according to work instructions.
3.Carry out demoulding, surface finishing and minor repairs of precast concrete products as instructed.
4.Assist in handling, moving, stacking and storing raw materials and finished products safely.
5.Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the production area, including cleaning tools, equipment and moulds.
6.Follow production schedules, supervisor instructions and established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
7.Assist with basic quality inspections to ensure products meet the required specifications.
8.Report defective products, damaged equipment, unsafe conditions or production issues to the supervisor.
9.Comply with factory safety requirements and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
10.Perform other related factory duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

1.Physically fit and able to perform manual handling and factory work.
2.Willing to work in a concrete manufacturing environment.
3.Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
4.Responsible, punctual and willing to learn.
5.Previous experience in precast concrete or construction-related manufacturing is an advantage but not compulsory.
Working Conditions
7.Work is carried out in a factory and production environment.
8.May involve exposure to cement dust, noise, wet concrete and heavy materials.
9.May require standing for extended periods and performing repetitive manual tasks.
10.Must comply with all workplace safety procedures and instructions.
