Responsible for the safe and timely collection and delivery of goods and materials. Ensure proper handling of goods, vehicle safety, and completion of delivery documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate lorry for goods collection and delivery.
- Load and unload goods and verify delivery documents.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, logbooks, and delivery records.
- Plan efficient delivery routes and ensure timely deliveries.
- Comply with traffic laws, company SOPs, and safety requirements.
- Report accidents, breakdowns, delays, or delivery issues.
Requirements:
- Valid GDL with Class D driving licences.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years’ lorry driving experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Basic vehicle maintenance and navigation skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Goods handling experience is an advantage.
