Role Overview
Ambitious Academy is seeking a tutor to teach E-Commerce and Principles of Marketing. The tutor will deliver engaging lessons, support students’ learning, and help them apply business concepts to practical situations.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the programme syllabus and learning outcomes.
• Teach e-commerce topics, including online business models, digital storefronts, customer experience, online payments, and marketplace strategies.
• Teach marketing fundamentals, including market research, consumer behaviour, segmentation, targeting, positioning, and the marketing mix.
• Use case studies, projects, and classroom activities to connect theory with practice.
• Prepare teaching materials, assignments, assessments, and examinations.
• Assess students’ work and provide constructive, timely feedback.
• Monitor attendance and academic progress, providing additional guidance where needed.
• Maintain accurate teaching and assessment records.
• Work with the academic team to review course content and improve teaching quality.
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce, or a related field.
• Relevant teaching, tutoring, or training experience preferred.
• Practical experience in marketing, digital marketing, or e-commerce is an advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to explain concepts clearly and support students with different learning needs.
• Familiarity with online learning platforms and digital teaching tools.
