JUNIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Taking off quantity, calculation of project costing, computation of BQ and ordering material
• Assist Senior Quantity Surveyor prepare monthly report progress claim, sub-contractor' payment certificate, VO evaluation and project final account
• Able to do cost estimation independently and accurately
• Assist for site valuations or measurement for claim and payment to sub-contractor
• Taking off quantity, controlling, ordering, recording and monitor of material
• Coordinate with project team in administering contractual matters such as variation order, extension of time, loss and expenses, project cost control etc
• Responsible for all aspect of the purchasing function including sourcing, selecting and negotiating with suppliers and sub-contractors
• Submission of material approval
• Assist to prepare and compile documents for tender submission

REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess at least bachelor’s degree in quantity Surveyor, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent
• Fresh graduate without working experience is encourage to apply
• Good interpersonal skill and able to work independent
• Initiative and ability to meet tight reporting deadlines in the challenging environment
• Possess own transport
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
• Pleasant personality, open-minded and fast learner
• Computer literate MS Office Excel and Word
