Kitchen Assistant

Job Description:
1. Assist the chef and kitchen staff in preparing ingredients and food items.
2. Wash, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables, meat, seafood, and other ingredients.
3. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, food preparation areas, and equipment.
4. Wash and clean kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and dishes.
5. Assist with cooking and food preparation according to instructions.
6. Store food ingredients properly and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed.
7. Check and replenish kitchen supplies and ingredients when necessary.
8. Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain a clean working environment.
9. Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
10. Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
