Education Counselor

Job Summary
The Education Counselor is responsible for providing academic guidance, counselling support, and student development services to Primary and Secondary students. The role involves supporting students' academic progress, personal and social development, and overall well-being. The Education Counselor is also expected to have teaching experience in Cambridge History and Cambridge Global Perspectives at both Primary and Secondary levels, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school management.

Job Description
1. Provide counselling and guidance to Primary and Secondary students on academic, personal, emotional, and social matters.

2. Identify students' needs and assist them in addressing academic challenges, behavioural concerns, and personal issues.

3. Teach Cambridge History and Cambridge Global Perspectives at Primary and Secondary levels, where required.

4. Monitor students' academic progress and support their personal development and well-being.

5. Work with teachers, parents, and school management to address students' needs and provide appropriate support.

6. Maintain confidential counselling records and promote a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment.

7. Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the School Principal or Head of School.

Job Requirement
1. Must be a Certified Counsellor with a recognised counselling qualification.

2. Must have teaching experience in Cambridge History at both Primary and Secondary levels.

3. Must have teaching experience in Cambridge Global Perspectives at both Primary and Secondary levels.

4. Must have experience providing counselling services to Primary and Secondary students.

5. Must possess good communication, interpersonal, and student management skills.

6. Must demonstrate professionalism, patience, empathy, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

7. Proficiency in Russian or other additional languages will be an added advantage.
