Responsibilities
1. Tiling Proposals
- Prepare tiling proposals for projects, dealers and retail customers,
covering tile layout plans, technical drawings and 3D visuals, based
on architectural plans, site measurements and the client brief.
Recommend tile selection, sizes, laying patterns and setting-out to
suit the space and minimise cutting wastage, and compute tile
quantities for the proposal. Use the Company-provided design
software and AI tools as best suits each job, and follow the
Company page design template for every proposal.
2. Accuracy Check Before Issue
- Check every proposal before it is sent to the client against the brief,
site dimensions and current product information (tile code, size,
colour, finish and quantity).
3. Briefs & Revisions
- Take briefs from salesmen and clients, and confirm requirements
and the customer’s deadline before starting work. Revise proposals
based on client feedback. Attend client meetings and site visits
when required.
4. Skills & Technology Upgrade
- Keep design and presentation skills current through training and
self-learning. Evaluate the latest software, AI tools and technology,
and advise management on those that can make proposals better
or faster.
5. Proposal Records & Reporting
- Maintain an organised library of proposals and design files with
version control. Keep a proposal job log (requester, project, delivery
date, order outcome) and submit a monthly report to the Head of
Sales & Marketing.
6. Carry out any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
