To ensure the proper operation, handling, and maintenance of all machinery, equipment, and instruments to ensure the smooth operation of the wastewater treatment plant.
Key responsibilities
Troubleshoot operational issues and implement appropriate corrective actions to resolve wastewater treatment plant problems
Ensure that all work activities and operating procedures are carried out in accordance with established SOPs and applicable environmental regulations
Monitor the performance of the wastewater treatment system and ensure that treatment processes operate efficiently
Maintain proper operational records and report any equipment malfunctions or operational abnormalities to the relevant supervisor
About you
Minimum 2 years of related working experience in a manufacturing company, preferably in industrial wastewater treatment or Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) operations
Must possess a valid CePIETSO / CePSEaM certification issued or recognised by the Environmental Institute of Malaysia (EiMAS), as applicable to the factory's wastewater treatment system
Good attitude, responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision
Hands-on experience in wastewater treatment plant operations, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is an added advantage
Knowledge of wastewater quality monitoring, environmental compliance and relevant Department of Environment (DOE/JAS) requirements is preferred
