Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and motivated Rotating Equipment Engineer with 3–5 years of working experience in the Oil & Gas industry. The successful candidate will be based in Kuala Lumpur (KL), Malaysia, and will be responsible for supporting engineering, maintenance, inspection and reliability activities related to rotating equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform technical assessments, inspections and maintenance of rotating equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify potential technical issues.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation and maintenance records.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors and internal engineering teams.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety standards and industry requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant working experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience working with PETRONAS or other Production Sharing
- Contract (PSC) operators is an advantage.
- Good technical knowledge of rotating equipment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Able to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities.
