SAP Automation Test Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Automation Test Analyst to support automated testing, business process automation validation, and quality assurance activities across SAP and integrated business systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a deep understanding of business processes, and hands-on experience in automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Test Automation Development & Execution

- Identify suitable test cases and scenarios for automation based on business priorities, system criticality, and regression requirements.

- Execute automated test cycles including regression testing, integration testing, smoke testing, performance testing, and end-to-end business flow testing.

- Validate data integrity, system configurations, process consistency, and cross-module integrations.

2. Business Process Automation & Validation

- Understand and document existing business processes to support optimisation and automation initiatives.

- Develop automated validation steps to ensure workflows, business automations, RPA scripts, and SAP enhancements function correctly and consistently.

- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Process Owners to ensure automated tests accurately reflect business logic.

- Assess automation impact on downstream processes and ensure alignment with end-to-end operational requirements.

3. Quality Assurance & Defect Management

- Create and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test data, traceability matrices, and testing documentation.

- Ensure comprehensive test coverage for SAP changes, enhancements, interfaces, integrations, and new system rollouts.

4. Automation Framework Maintenance

- Maintain and update automation frameworks to ensure compatibility with new SAP releases, patches, and upgrades.

- Optimise automation scripts for performance, stability, and long-term maintainability.

- Implement industry best practices for versioning, documentation, and reusable automation components.
